Masklets

Species
Those the moon dropped

Lore

Mayjorus fell from the moon down into a grassy field. Gaining conciseness Mayjorus started to wander. The cool night breeze against their fur and jelly substance (found around the top half of the head, pawpads, and inner ears) drifting softly though the breeze, a faint song could be heard. Mayjorus followed the sound. The sound could be recognized as a pan flute. Closer and closer the song became leading Mayjorus to a creature similar to them. The creature's song stops as they turn around.
"I've been waiting many moons for this night. I am Twilinda"
Twilinda reaches up to her face removing a mask revealing a starry space looking substance.
Something clicks in Mayjorus' mind.
They smile at their new friend as they introduce themselves.
"The moon brought us here together for a reason. This land is ours."

Other

they DONT HAVE typical reproductive parts. To create a new Masklet the two must have a strong bond. When committing to creation they will wait for the full moon. The paw pads have a special alility to create new life when pressed to another and a special vibe is shared leaving the paw pads glowing. Placeing these on the ground will create a ring of light. The parents then wait some (currently unspessified) amount of time. A small (possibly human child age of 3) sized will "drop" from the moon landing carefully in the light circle. Over all Masklets are positive balls of fluff and are social butterfly's. The introverted ones are still social but it is widely Accsepted that if an introvert needed to leave a party or hang out early then they can with no judgement.
